1. Development of Tiruchy:

 Tiruchi will be considered as a second capital of Tamil Nadu. It is located in centre of  Tamil Nadu. And we can travel to any other districts from Tiruchi.

There are 2 rivers Tiruchy. 1. Cauvery 2. Kollidam. Kallanai is the dam constructed on the Cauvery. The two rivers Cauvery and Kollidam are dividing from Mukkombu. And they are united at Kallanai. Cauvery delta is considered as the flourished part of Tiruchy. Road transport is changed into 4 way route.  And it unit all the town sand districts through ring road. (The ring road construction is on the way.). Very soon, Tiruchy will be changed as a Corporation.

2. Development in Education:

So many collages are there in Tiruchy. Bishop Heeber college, St. Valanar College, National College, Seethalakshmi Ramasamy College, Periyar E.Ve. Ra. College, Dhanalakshmi College, Tuvakkudi Government Arts College, Cauvery College for Women, Srimathi Indira College  and Engineering colleges – JJ Engineering College, NIT (REC) Engineering College, SRM Medical College, VJP Polytechnic College, Saranathan Engineering College and one of the India’s best Agricultural University is situated here. There are so many Government Primary Schools, Government Boys Higher Secondary Schools and Private Schools, English medium Schools are situated here.

3. Airport:

Now, Tiruchy Airport is changed as the International  Airport. There are direct flight services from Tiruchy to Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, Arab Countries. The airport extend works are under construction.

4. Railways:

Tiruchy Junction connects all the towns, cities and districts of Tamilnadu.

5. Hospitals:

There is One Government Hospital with Government Medical College situated at the centre of Tiruchy. There are so many Private hospitals are situated with latest technology. KMC, ABC, CSI, Maruthi, Rathina are some.

6. Hotels:

Star Hotels such as  SRM. Jennis, Femina, Gajapriya, Mayas, Chevina, Tamilnadu, Sathiyam, Ajantha, Sangam are situated in Tiruchy.

7. Industries:

Long back there was only one industry which was Ponmalai Railway Factory was situated in Tiruchy. But now there are so many factories are there in Tiruchy. BHEL, OFT, Golden Rock, HAPP.  BHEL 2^nd Unit is started in 2010. IT Park will be going to open soon. And some other factories and industries will be set up soon in Tiruchy. Artificial Diamond jewellery, Golden ornaments making, Silk thread production, Brick  and Blue metal production, Computer parts production and chemical productions are some of the major productions .

8. Temple of Tiruchy:

1.       Tiruchy Sri Rangam Ranganathar Temple considered as India’s Eatrh’s Heaven.

2.       Thiruvanaikkaval is considered as a Panchabhoota Sthalam. Sri Jambugeswarar Temple is located in Tiruchy.

3.       Samayapuram Sri. Mariammam Temple is situated in Tiruchy.

4.       Rock Fort – Pillaiyar Temple is situated in Tiruchy.

5.       There is Vekkaliyamman Temple situated in Voraiyur (Tiruchy)

6.       Pichandavar Brahma, Vishnu Temple.

7.       Perumal Temple is Gunaseelam.

11.   The famour Shas Temple like  Nathar Shah mosque are there in Tiruchy. And so many Mosques  are there in Tiruchy.
